ELIGIBILITY: The Marriott Rewards "25th Anniversary" Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") and the Bonus Miles Offer are open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 21 years old as of March 1, 2008. When you register, you must also check/update your Marriott Rewards profile to ensure that "Miles" is specified as your earning preference, "Delta SkyMiles" is listed as the preferred airline program and include your Delta SkyMiles number. If these profile designations are not made, you will not be registered/eligible for automatic Sweepstakes entry {or the Bonus Miles Offer per Rule #4(A)(iv)}.       2. If you are not already a Marriott Rewards Member: Visit www.joinmarriottrewards.com/delta/MR25 and follow the directions specified for registration, including providing your name, email address, and Marriott Rewards number (you will obtain one at no cost when you visit joinmarriottrewards.com/delta/MR25). During registration at joinmarriottrewards.com/delta/MR25, you must create a Marriott Rewards profile and select "Miles" as your earning preference, "Delta SkyMiles" as your preferred airline program and include your Delta SkyMiles number. If you do not make these profile designations, you will not be registered/eligible for automatic Sweepstakes entry {or the Bonus Miles Offer per Rule #4(A)(iv)}.       Limit one registration per person, name, address, email address, Marriott Rewards number and/or SkyMiles number throughout the Promotion Period.

      1. Earning Sweepstakes Entries with Qualified Stays:
        Once registered (as outlined above), with each Qualified Stay you personally make at a participating Marriott location during the Promotion Period, you will be credited with one (1) automatic entry into the Marriott Rewards "25th Anniversary" Sweepstakes. A Qualified Stay is defined as either one (1) night or consecutive nights spent at the same participating Marriott hotel location, regardless of check-in/check-out activity. For example, if a registered entrant stays at the same hotel location for three (3) consecutive nights, this will be considered one (1) Qualified Stay and one (1) automatic Sweepstakes entry will be credited. A Qualifying Stay that is made during the Promotion Period, but is made prior to your date of registration, will not qualify for automatic Sweepstakes entry {or the Bonus Miles Offer, per Rule #4(A)(iv)}, and no retroactive entries/credits will be provided. If a reservation is made but is then refunded or cancelled, or a room is pre-paid but you do not stay in the hotel, an automatic Sweepstakes entry (or the Bonus Miles Offer credit) will not be earned. The entrant/member is responsible for reconciling all non-posted stays by July 31, 2008, and any stays that have not been reconciled by this date will be forfeited and will not be eligible for the automatic Sweepstakes entry (or the Bonus Miles Offer). If, prior to the end of the Promotion Period, you subsequently update your profile and "Miles" and/or "Delta SkyMiles" are no longer selected/preferences, you will no longer be eligible for automatic Sweepstakes entry (or the Bonus Miles Offer).

      1. Additional Delta Bonus Miles Offer For Qualified Stays:
        After registering to participate (as outlined above), in addition to receiving Sweepstakes entries for Qualified Stays, you can also earn up to 5,000 Delta Bonus Miles as follows:
        • If you make two (2) Qualified Stays during the Promotion Period, you will receive 2,500 Bonus Miles for your second stay, and
        • If you make three (3) Qualified Stays during the Promotion Period, you will receive 2,500 Bonus Miles for your second and third stays, for a total of 5,000 Bonus Miles.
      Limit 5,000 Bonus Miles, as outlined above, per person, name, address, email address, Marriott Rewards number and/or SkyMiles number for Qualified Stays, made at participating Marriott hotels, throughout the Promotion Period. As outlined in Rule #4, in order to be eligible for this separate Bonus Miles Offer, if you are already a Marriott Rewards® Member, when registering, your Marriott Rewards profile must reflect the "Miles" and "Delta SkyMiles" selections, and you must include your Delta SkyMiles account number OR, if you are not yet a Marriott Rewards Member, when registering, you must create a Marriott Rewards profile and select "Miles" as your earning preference, "Delta SkyMiles" as your preferred airline program and include your Delta SkyMiles account number. If, prior to earning Bonus Miles as outlined above, you revise/update your profile and "Miles" and/or "Delta SkyMiles" are no longer selected/preferences, you will no longer be eligible for automatic Sweepstakes entry or the Bonus Miles Offer. Bonus Miles will not be available for your first Qualified Stay and can be earned only for a second and third Qualified Stay you make during the Promotion Period (and after registration).     2. TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES WITHOUT A QUALIFIED STAY OR ANY PURCHASE:

      You may also enter the Sweepstakes by hand-printing your complete name and address, phone number and Marriott Rewards number on a 3" x 5" piece of paper. Mail your entry in a hand-addressed, postage-paid, (#10) envelope to: Marriott Rewards "25th Anniversary" Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 6727, West Caldwell, NJ 07007-6727. Mailed entries must be received by June 12, 2008. You may enter as often as you wish via mail but limit one (1) entry per outer mailing envelope, mailed separately.

      If entering by mail, you do not need to register {per Rule #4(A)}, but you do need a Marriott Rewards number. If you do not already have a Marriott Rewards number, you can obtain complete program details and join at no cost at www.MarriottRewards.com. Marriott Rewards offers are void where prohibited by law and other restrictions may apply. The Marriott Rewards program rules and related offers are subject to change.

      When entering the Sweepstakes by mail, entrants will be eligible for all Sweepstakes prizes, but will not be eligible for the Separate Bonus Miles Offer {the Bonus Miles Offer is a separate premium offer that is only available with the purchase(s)/Qualified Stay(s) outlined in Rule #4}.

    3. FOR ALL ENTRIES:

      All entries must be complete to be eligible to enter and win. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged, and Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries. All entrants agree that Sponsor and Sponsor’s agents, affiliates or service providers may use entrants’ personal information submitted with entry for purposes of prize fulfillment and/or for future marketing by Sponsor, such as to notify them of a product, service, or promotion that Sponsor thinks may be of interest. Sponsor will not sell personal information submitted with entry to outside solicitors. No mechanical/automated devices or third party entries may be used to participate. Sponsor is not responsible for lost/late/misdirected/illegible/postage due entries or mail or computer malfunctions. If entering the Sweepstakes with a Marriott Qualified Stay, and in the event of a dispute regarding Sweepstakes entry credit for the stay, the person registered to the Marriott Rewards number used to register for the Sweepstakes (per Rule #4) will be considered the official/eligible entrant.
  5. TO OBTAIN A DELTA SKYMILES NUMBER:
    If you are not already a SkyMiles Member and in order to obtain a SkyMiles number, visit delta.com/skymiles or call 1-800-323-2323 (no purchase is necessary to obtain a SkyMiles number). All SkyMiles program rules apply to SkyMiles program membership, miles, offers, mile accrual, mile redemption and travel benefits. To review the SkyMiles rules, please visit delta.com/memberguide.   6. SWEEPSTAKES WINNER SELECTION/NOTIFICATION:
    Sweepstakes Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about August 31, 2008, from all eligible entries received. The drawing will be accomplished by draddy infusion llc, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning a prize will depend on the total number of entries received. Sweepstakes Winners will be notified by mail within 45 days of the drawing. Potential Winner will be notified that they have won by e-mail, telephone, and/or overnight mail within five (5) days of the drawing. Except where legally prohibited, Potential Winner must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release form ("Eligibility/Liability Form") within seven (7) days of notification or the prize will be forfeited and an Alternate Winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an Alternate Winner. If a Potential Winner fails to sign and return the Eligibility/Liability form, or if the Potential Winner is unavailable to accept the prize within the time period specified, or to use the prize on dates specified by Sponsor, the Potential Winner will be disqualified and an Alternate Winner will be selected. Up to three (3) Alternate Winner drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain unawarded
  7. SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES:
    Twenty-five (25) Grand Prizes – two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) Bonus Miles under the Delta SkyMiles program (ARV - $5,000 each Grand Prize). No more than 25 prizes will be awarded with a total Approximate Retail Value not to exceed $125,000. Limit one (1) prize per person, family or household. Expenses not stated herein are the sole responsibility of the Winner. If a Winner cannot accept the prize as stated, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an Alternate Winner. Grand Prize is not transferable and no substitution is allowed except in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize may not be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize (or portion of prize) is unavailable. Winner is responsible for any loss of prize or portion of prize after it has been delivered. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of the prize not specifically stated herein are the sole responsibility of Winner. Miles awarded for prizes and the Bonus Miles Offer are Bonus Miles under the Delta SkyMiles program and do not count toward Medallion qualification or Million Miler status.   8. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
    This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus or bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the operation, administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and: (a) cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof); (b) modify the Sweepstakes or suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; and/or (c) award the prizes from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received, up to the time of impairment, or all eligible Official Entries received.

    WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Neither Sponsor nor anyone acting on its behalf will enter into any communications with any entrant regarding this Sweepstakes, except as expressly set forth in these Official Rules.   10. DISPUTES:
    Except where prohibited by law, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the District of Maryland or the appropriate Maryland State Court located in Maryland; (2) any and all claims, judgment, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maryland, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules (whether of the State of Maryland or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Maryland.
